Ellen confronts Moore about Florida and threatens to expose him if he doesn’t provide proof about Frobisher and his stock. Moore says he can give her something better than that.
As Fiske waits for Frobisher at a restaurant he thinks back to when he told Gregory to sell the stock he gave him. Frobisher arrives. Fiske shows him pictures of Moore talking to Ellen.
Patty and Ellen discuss her next meeting with Moore. Michael comes in and Ellen leaves. She sees Moore’s car and gets in, but finds him dead. She grabs an envelope from his coat pocket and exits. She brings the envelope to Patty. Inside are pictures of Fiske and Gregory, along with proof of Gregory owning and selling the stock.
Fiske meets with his boss Marshall, who tells him that he and other partners are losing confidence and that Marshall will deal with Frobisher directly. Fiske later meets with Patty in the park, she shows him the pictures of he and Gregory together. Shaken, he returns to his office and finds a letter from Gregory mentioning the videotape. Fiske thinks back to the evening when he confessed his true feelings to Gregory, then tried to kiss him. Fiske calls Frobisher and tells him about Moore’s death and about the letter.
Fiske meets with Patty at her office. She tells him that if he destroys the case, she will hire him. She returns the photos and documents to him, and he leaves. Fiske comes back and tells her he’s always wanted to work with her, but not anymore. He then shoots himself in the head.
Ellen comes home to find a wedding gift, but it’s actually lingerie from Lila with a note to David. Ellen calls Lila and tells her to stay away or she will come after her. Later that evening when she returns home, Lila sits in the dark apartment and leaves, unnoticed by Ellen.
